About Us

Diabetes UK Sheffield Group is run by an annually elected Committee consisting of volunteers.

The current Committee members are:

Honorary Treasurer: Phil Beattie

Fundraising Co-ordinator: Charlotte Biggins

Our Meetings are held on the third Thursday of each month at Houlden Hall, Norfolk Row, Sheffield city centre (see Meetings and Events page for full details)

We organise fundraising and awareness raising activities throughout the year.

We get support from local healthcare professionals, including the President of Diabetes UK Sheffield Group, Professor Solomon Tesfaye, and the Vice Presidents Dr. Nuala Creagh and Professor Simon Heller.
